Cost Avoidance Active in EnergyCAP Version 7, Read-Only in Version 3

On Saturday, June 1, 2019, EnergyCAP will enable all Cost Avoidance features in EnergyCAP Version 7 and make existing Cost Avoidance features read-only in EnergyCAP Version 3.

All existing Cost Avoidance features have been migrated from EnergyCAP Version 3 to EnergyCAP Version 7, and extensive testing has occurred to ensure that calculations are consistent between both systems.

To avoid multi-version confusion, the Cost Avoidance features in EnergyCAP Version 3 will become read-only on June 1^st. Cost avoidance charts, reports, and other detailed information will remain visible within Version 3; however, the features will be read-only. All changes to baseline settings, adjustments, and other savings must be made in Version 7 after June 1^st. Version 7 also supports bulk changes to special adjustments and other savings via setup spreadsheet.
