EnergyCAP Failover Test—Server Outages

Saturday, June 29, 2019

As previously communicated, EnergyCAP will be conducting a failover test of its hosting environment during the first week of July. These tests are performed to ensure that application and database services are not disrupted during actual failover situations.

All production databases and application servers will be failed over to our secondary data center during the weekend of June 29–30. Services will be returned to our primary data center during the weekend of July 6–7.

Although we did not anticipate an outage, we have decided to take hosted databases offline during the transitions to ensure no data loss for customers. Your database will be offline during the following times as part of this test:

Sunday, June 30, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM ET
Sunday, July 7, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM ET
