2. New Weather Data Provider:
EnergyCAP’s Normalization, Calendarization, and Cost Avoidance calculations are based on mean daily temperature data that is imported automatically every day. Since 1994, the daily weather data has been provided by AccuWeather, Inc. Starting May 1, 2019, our weather data provider will be The Weather Company (TWC), which is owned by IBM and hosts the popular Weather Channel. There should be no interruption in service related to the change, and your historical weather data will not be impacted. We have prepared Frequently Asked Questions to address questions you may have related to the change of weather data providers.

You may be the only individual at your organization to receive this notification, so please share the information with other users as necessary.

Sincerely,

Joel Brickell
Asst. Vice President, Client Services
