EnergyCAP 7.15 Release

This release includes a new Notification feature and enhancements that make submitting data to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager even easier.

EnergyCAP Notifications

Notifications let you subscribe to news about application updates, new features, and system events.

A new icon has been added to let you know when you have unread messages.

Configure your personal notification settings to determine what to be notified about and which notification types you want to also receive by email.

Administrators can:

• Configure default notification settings for new users.
• Disable email notifications for all users.
• Send notifications to users in their database (via user groups).

ENERGY STAR Enhancements

EnergyCAP can now create ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager meters automatically for you. After selecting your EnergyCAP meters to submit to ENERGY STAR, you can select “Create in Portfolio Manager” to have individual meters created for you.

Our updated ENERGY STAR Supported Commodities panel indicates the Portfolio Manager commodity that will be used when automatically creating meters.

User Group Enhancements

User group management is updated and now has a dedicated tab on the Users and Roles page. User groups are managed in the application and with setup spreadsheets.

Other updates

• No more pop-up windows when downloading reports and other files.
• Look out for more helpful confirmation messages and status alerts.
